DUTIES
Optec is looking for a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer, dealing with:

• Development of mechanical projects from the preliminary phase to delivery.
• 3D modeling and creation of technical drawings using Autodesk Inventor 2024, Vault 2024 and AutoCAD 2024.
• Collaboration with the AIT department for the definition of integration procedures and the development of MGSE/EGSE/OGSE.
• Creation of bills of materials (BOMs), preliminary and final layouts, rendering and preparation for testing and delivery.
• Meetings with customers and suppliers
• Support for measurement activities
• Technical support to mechanical workshops

REQUIRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS:

• Degree in mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification
• Good knowledge of spoken and written English
• Experience in mechanical design, preferably in the opto-mechanical sector
• Knowledge of Office, Inventor, AutoCAD and Vault
• Teamwork skills and quality orientation
• Availability of short-term trips, even overseas, at the customer's site
